Creating a Stunning Intro Video for Max Ortiz Aguilar “MOA”

Max Ortiz Aguilar, known as “MOA,” reached out to me for assistance with creating an intro video to use across his video productions, including courses, tutorials, and demos. Max is an exceptional photographer from Costa Rica, currently residing in Canada. You can view his work here: www.photosbymoa.com.

Concept and Design

For this short video, which needed to be around 10 seconds, I proposed a concept inspired by the breathtaking landscapes Max captures in his photography. The idea was to illustrate a scenic mountain landscape where three peaks would seamlessly blend into the “M” and “A” from his logo.

The landscape illustration was crafted to reflect the beauty of snow-capped mountains, reminiscent of Max’s photographic style. To enhance the atmosphere, I incorporated mist and water effects during post-production, along with ambient sound effects. The final touch was a shutter release sound effect that perfectly timed with the logo transitioning into its complete form.

A Satisfying Collaboration

Both Max and I were thrilled with the final result. The video not only met his expectations but also captured the essence of his work and brand. It was a pleasure to contribute to his creative projects and bring this vision to life.
